I was watching the Disney Channel with my four year old daughter Kylie and the show "Dog with a Blog" came on. It was our first time watching the show (yes...I actually enjoy watching Disney Channel shows!). Kylie giggled when she saw the talking dog typing away at the computer. She said, "Mommy, I want a blog too!". I thought it was crazy that my four year old was already interested in having a blog....times have changed! I didn't even have a blog yet! I've always wanted to start my own but wondered who would even care to read it? What kind of blog would I have? Would I just use it to post photos of my adorable girls for family to see? Would I use it to share DIY and party ideas? Would I use it as a creative writing outlet?
After much thought and brainstorming I decided to go for it and create a blog that represents all of those things. A place of my own...where I can share my craft ideas on storage and organization, a place to share my love for Christ, a place to connect with other bloggers, a place to hopefully inspire and encourage.
I live in Kingsburg, California with my husband Reggie of 6 years and our two adorable little girls Kylie (4) and Braelynn (1). I went to school to be a teacher but right now I am enjoying being a mother and teacher to my girls. My husband serves in the Air National Guard. We live in a small home built in the 1940s. It has character and charm, but lacks storage space! I have enjoyed being creative with the space I have to create more storage and organization. That's where the blog name "Storage Grace" came from.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."
Grace is God showing His love to us even though we don't deserve it.
I am thankful that God saved us by His Grace through
his son Christ Jesus.
