My baby Braelynn turned one this past March. Since her birthday is near St. Patrick's Day we had a "Lucky Little Lady" party for her! We had the party at Play-2-Learn...which was a mommy and me preschool my sister-in-law ran at her church. It was a perfect place to have a party since there was so much for the kids to do.
We are so lucky to have Braelynn in our family....we are blessed!
This was Braelynn's birthday invitation I created. I purchased printable party decorations from the Etsy Store Stacy's Sweet Stuff. She has adorable party designs...check her out! I used the shamrock and little birdie theme throughout the party.
The dessert table included rainbow fruit, mint chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, chocolate mint shamrocks, Skittles, and rainbow Golf Fish crackers. I made Braelynn her own smash cake with a shamrock. I used a shamrock cookie cutter as an outline for the green sprinkles. I also made the cupcake toppers and labels with the printable party decorations.
I created a Shutterfly photo book as a guest book (I had a free coupon...woohoo!) for her party. I included photos from each month from her first ultrasound to her 12 month photos. I created the flag banner out of fun chevron cardstock. We had a coloring station set up with a rainbow created out of tissue paper. The favors, in the green basket, were shamrock necklaces and gold chocolate coins!
We also had a drink station with green lemonade and water. I made Braelynn's birthday hat from a tutorial on Pinterest: DIY Party Hat. I also made the "I am 1" banner for the high chair. The black high chair is my sister's...since she is a photographer she has great photo props she lets me borrow :). The happy birthday banner was also created from the printable party decorations from Stacy's Sweet Stuff.
I love 1st birthday cake eating photos! She was so excited when we put the cake down in front of her...she wasn't sure what to do with it!
This is a close up of Braelynn's birthday timeline. Newborn-1 year photos....makes me teary eyed looking back at it! The timeline was also created from the printable decorations from Stacy's Sweet Stuff.
My sweet little girl at 12 months old! Her chevron shamrock onesie was purchased from Olivia Grace Couture. Photography was by my sister Kimberly Renee Photography.
