Refrigerator Frames {Easy and Cheap!}

 My refrigerator was starting to look a little cluttered with photos, art work, and notes.  I love to display all these things from my family and friends....but....it was just gettin' too messy!  I have seen the idea of refrigerator photo frames on Pinterest (I'm sure you have too!) and wanted to give it a shot!

I purchased black 4x6 and 5x7 photo frames for the Dollar Tree store.  The cheap frames are actually the best since they are light in weight.  I then ripped off the piece on the back that stands the frame up...it came off easily!  If you want a different color frame you can just spray paint them whatever color you like.

I purchased magnet strips.  You can also purchase magnet circles to glue on the back (the strips were cheaper!).  The magnet strips were 1 inch in width.  I cut pieces in half to 1/2 inch.  I then super glued a strip to all 4 sides of the back of the frame.  Simple!

I inserted a piece of burlap in one of the 4x6 frames to use as a little message board.  You can write on the glass with a dry erase marker.

I purchased magnet metal clips to hang art work, cards, or notes on the bottom part of the refrigerator.  I didn't want to put the frames down too low...my 18 month old would have fun ripping them off the refrige!  Anything extra I wanted to hang on the refrigerator I put on the side.

I guess there is an advantage of having an older white, non stainless steel, refrigerator!

Total cost was $10!
